Shell Horror is a type of Scourge enemy in Outward.
Description
Shell Horror are enormous, aggressive beasts. They are generally found near Cabal of Wind-related locations, and often accompanied by Illuminator Horrors.
Variants
Almost all Shell Horrors are the common variety, however there are two rare exceptions, which can be encountered during the Blue Chamber and Holy Mission faction quest lines:
- During Whispering Bones, the player is tasked with killing a Green Shell Horror, which has identical stats but drops the unique Green Horror Chitin.
- A weaker version can be found during Hallowed Peacemaker in the In Between. They have identical stats, except they have 50 health and only deals 1 and 1 damage, and do not inflict Extreme Poison.
